When you create an account, we collect your email address and an encrypted password. We do not collect your name, phone number, or any other personal information.
When you use the app, we request your device's GPS location to find nearby fuel stations. Your location is sent to our server solely to perform the proximity search and is not stored, logged, or shared with any third party. Location data is processed in real-time and immediately discarded.
If you choose to enable biometric sign-in (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint), all biometric processing happens entirely on your device using the Web Authentication API. No biometric data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party.
We use browser local storage to save your authentication session and fuel type preference. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics, or any third-party advertising scripts.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third party. Fuel price data is sourced from the UK Government's Fuel Finder API and is Crown copyright.
Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. You may request account deletion by contacting the administrator. Upon deletion, all associated data is permanently removed.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. You may also withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account.
Fuel Prices UK provides real-time fuel pricing information sourced from the UK Government's Fuel Finder API. The service is provided on an "as is" basis.
Access to the application requires an approved account. Account approval is at the sole discretion of the administrator. Accounts may be revoked or deleted at any time without notice.
Fuel prices are sourced from the Government's open data feed and are updated within 30 minutes of changes as required by The Motor Fuel Price (Open Data) Regulations 2025. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of pricing data. Always verify prices at the forecourt before fuelling.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klipboard shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this service, including but not limited to reliance on fuel pricing data.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
This application is intended for personal, non-commercial use to find fuel prices near your location. Use of the service must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
To ensure fair access for all users, the application enforces reasonable rate limits on data requests. Excessive or abusive usage patterns may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.
Violation of this fair usage policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice.

Mapping data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL).
Postcode geocoding is provided by Postcodes.io, an open-source service.
